A NEW police and community support officer will be helping to tackle crime and anti-social behaviour in Queensgate.
PCSO Lisa Edmondson joins the area's Neighbourhood Policing Team to work with community Beat Manager PC Richard Collopy, PCSO Nigel Keates and a team of five Neighbourhood Response Officers to combat anti-social behaviour on the ward.
She will also work with local residents and community groups to help beat crime and nuisance behaviour.
She said: "A great deal of excellent work is already underway in Queensgate and I am looking forward to doing what I can to build on this.
"Like any area, Queensgate has its fair share of problems with anti-social behaviour and this is something I intend to turn my immediate attention to."
