A banner promoting fair trade will be paraded through Haworth on Sunday.

Volunteers from Haworth's Fairtrade group are taking part in an international project organised by the global network of fair trade - IFAT.

The project, which is called The Global Journey, will see a banner displaying the Fair Trade Organisation logo unfurled outside the Bronte Parsonage Museum at 2.30pm.

The banner symbolises all the organisations officially accredited as fair trading. It began its journey in a slum in the Indian city of Mumbai in 2004 and is currently being taken across England, Ireland and Wales.

On Sunday it will also be displayed at a church service in Baildon and at Bradford University and Bradford College.
