ANDOVER police are appealing for information after four distraction burglaries on Good Friday.

They happened at two homes in Blake Court and two in Shepherds Lodge and Artists Way between 12pm and 4.15pm.

At both locations a man spoke to elderly residents before entering their homes.

At Blake Court a purse, £150 cash and £20 of Marks and Spencer vouchers were stolen from one address. It's believed nothing was taken from the other.

The man is described as white and aged between 50 and 60. He is well built and muscular, over 6ft tall, with distinctive grey and white- coloured wavy hair. He was wearing light-coloured trou-sers and a grey striped jumper.

Police believe the incidents could be linked to another at an address in Fareham at midday on Sunday.

Anyone with information should contact Andover CID on 0845 045 45 45 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
