Jim Troughton's century has put Warwickshire firmly in the driving seat as the Bears reached 248-4 at tea.
The left-hander, who is the son of former Doctor Who actor Patrick Troughton, has exterminated the Worcestershire bowling attack, hitting a stunning array of elegant drives on the way to an unbeaten 122.
The one-time England batsman has been well-supported by Jonathan Trott (39), Alex Loudon (45) and Tim Ambrose (30no).
