A LANDLORD fought back when he was confronted by masked raiders in his pub.
The licensee of the Dragon pub in Parr Lane, Unsworth, suffered a cut to his head in a scuffle with the intruders.
The two men demanded money but fled empty handed. The landlord later required hospital treatment to his head wound.
The incident happened at around 1.30am on Sunday as the publican was preparing to go to bed.
Detectives say the robbers were both about 5ft 8ins tall and wore balaclavas and dark clothing.
