Tom Mason headed Star ahead, only for Wayne Blossom to lash home the equaliser on the stroke of half-time.
After the break, Mason completed his brace, before Rodney wrapped up his tally with two goals in five minutes.
A strike from Amir Taherabadi earned Rose Hill a 1-0 win Six Bells Kidlington.
Joey Beauchamp hammered a hat-trick for Oxford Yellows as they thrashed Cold Arbour Res 5-1 in Division 1.
Tom Gaughan and Ronnie Kababwe, with a right-foot drive into the top corner, were also on target, with Carl Spiers replying.
Railway Wheatley Res' four- match winning streak came to an end as they slid to a 6-3 defeat at the hands of Woodchip Wanderers.
Matt Townsend and John Smith each grabbed a brace for Woodchip, with Chris Beechey and James Claridge completing the scoring.
Paul Cooper, Sean Liptrot and Tom Williams found the net for Railway.
