THE new-look Macclesfield and District Volunteer Centre will be officially opened next week.
Bigger premises at 25-27 Old Park Lane, Macclesfield, will offer an expanded and enhanced service to both existing and potential volunteers and to community groups and organisations across the borough. This will include a drop-in facility three days a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays between 10am and 2pm.
Previously, the volunteer centre was based in the Council for Voluntary Service (CVS) offices at 81 Park Lane.
The Mayor of Macclesfield Borough, Cllr Jim Crockatt, will officially open the new centre on Thursday May 17 at 11am.
