Abingdon Eagles Under 18s ended their season with a heavy 103-51 defeat against TASIS in the National play-offs.
TASIS, who finished second in the Premiership, once again outclassed Eagles, whom they had trounced at the same stage of last year's play-offs.
With two England under 18 players on their books, TASIS dominated the game.
Eagles made them work for their victory, and the fact that two TASIS players were fouled off by the end of the game, pays testament to the losers' efforts.
However, they could not match their opponents' firepower, and Eagles' 30 per cent success rate with their floor shots did not do justice to the chances they created.
Skipper Ben Pugh and Simon Rudd were joint top scorers for the Eagles, with 18 points apiece.
Great credit must go to the team, who finished third in their first season in the West Conference Under 18 age group.
Eagles scorers: B Pugh 18, S Rudd 18, S Davis 5, A Herman 3, C Mannix 3, J van der Boom 2, J Sutcliffe 2.
