FUNDRAISING firefighter Dean Reilly is hosting a darts tournament in aid of two charities close to his heart.
Dean, who works at Bromsgrove Sports, in Church Street, is hosting the challenge in aid of the fire brigade's benevolent fund and Leukeamia Research.
The kind-hearted firefighter held a successful tournament three years ago and now hopes to raise even more money to aid the worthy charities.
"I have two family members who are suffering with leukeamia and know many people who are affected by this disease and, being a fireman, the benevolent fund is personally important to me," he said.
The competition started last Saturday and runs for two weeks at the shop. It is £1 per go for three darts to try to gain the highest score, including a warm up throw. Prizes include trophies and sets of darts.
