Selby Griffin are the new leaders in division three of the York F1 Racing Premier Karting Football League.

Blundell hit five goals as they thrashed Inland Revenue 9-1, Crowther (2) and Woodhall (2) also on target, and they then edged out promotion candidates Copmanthorpe 3-2 with Woodhall (2) and Blundell poaching again.

James Gilbertson hit two for Cop, who bounced back with a great 3-1 win over title favourites Wanderers thanks to strikes from Davie Gal (2) and Rich Whitfield.

Whitfield then bagged four as Cop beat Inland Revenue 5-3, Matt Bastock also netting.

Wanderers recovered from the Cop defeat to thump Selby Olympia Reserves 6-0 with Daniel Coulson (2), Kevin Butler (2), Terry Taylor and Dave Hartas finding the net.

Other promotion-seekers, Bay Horse Tadcaster, beat Heworth 3-0 with Zealand, Conway and Shooter the marksmen, but third-placed Albion Vaults slipped to a surprise 2-1 defeat to Wilberfoss, Barker and Johns getting the decisive goals.
