Richmond were successful in Sunday's adidas mini London marathon, over the final 2.65 miles of the main course.

They took team honours in the junior girls' race in the London Borough Challenge, being led home by Katie Iliffe in eighth (16:56) and Louise McPhillips 20th (18:01).

Richmond were third in the junior boys' event, with Joss Moran 10th (16:05) and Ben Chapman 18th (16:36), and fourth-best senior girls thanks to Kate Brown in 10th (16:46) and Rachel Pryce 14th (16:55) Adam Gye led Sutton to team victory in the intermediate boys' event, coming 18th (15:31) with Chris Scofield 21st (15:38).

Wandsworth finished fourth in the junior girls' team race with Karin Muya 11th (17:36), Maire Gilmartin 14th (17:41) and Alex West 16th (17:47). Harriet Preedy was Kingston's best-placed runner in the six races, in sixth (16:53).

Merton's best team placing was ninth in the senior boys' event and Kingston's was 11th in the intermediate girls' event.

Merton's leading individual, Alex Cousins, was third in the junior boys' race (15:32).

Merton's Joe Toomey was seventh (15:00) and Geordie Logan 11th (15:09), with Wandsworth's Liam White 10th (15:08).

Sutton's Sophie Cowper was runner-up in the senior girls' race (16:00), pipped by one second. Team-mate Monica Isaac was 17th (16:59) and Merton's Rosemary Fernando 21st (17:13).

In the intermediate girls' race, Sutton's Grace O'Leary, was 11th (16:41), Wandsworth's Megan Evans 13th (17:01) and Richmond's Georgia Miansarow 16th (17:14).

More than 220 runners finished in each of the six age categories.
