A MAN has been fined after he damaged a door and toilet seat at his mother's house.
Matthew Adrian Stephenson, 19, of Queen Street, Accrington, admitted criminal damage.
He was fined £75 and ordered to pay £100 compensation and £65 costs.
Philippa White, prosecuting, said Stephenson was living at his mother's address and on the day of the incident they had an argument.
Defence solicitor Bernard Horne said the magistrates were dealing with a low level criminal damage.
The day after the incident the defendant's girlfriend had given birth to their child.
"The argument was about them looking for their own accommodation but it seems his mother is not to keen on him moving out and fending for himself," he added.
