* TWO very diverse artists are currently exhibiting at Hereford's Courtyard.

Deborah Russell, who is originally from London but now lives in Hereford, is a self-taught artist. Her exhibition, entitled Pulse, draws attention to the heart, looking at it as both a vital organ and a repository for emotions. As well as conceptual pieces made from pieces of ECG paper, there is figurative sculpture and a site-specific piece.

Doug Eaton's exhibition, Paint And Landscape, showcases his more fundamental approach to art. In the past he has exhibited at the Royal West of England Academy, Royal Academy Summer Exhibitions, and at the H.Art Open Exhibition.

Russell's work is in the Gallery and Upper Canyon, Eaton's landscape paintings are in the Lower Canyon. Entrance to both exhibitions, which run until June, is free and the Courtyard is open from 9am to 10pm daily, excluding Sundays.

*A PANTO-style musical version of Peter Pan is being brought to life by the Stardust Players.

Adapted by John Moley, the family-friendly show is at the Swan Theatre, Worcester, from Wednesday, May 9 to Saturday, May 12.

Filling the shoes of the boy who wouldn't grow up is 12-year-old Ellen Gilhooly. The Blessed Edward Oldcorne Catholic College pupil recently scooped a top prize at the World Irish Dancing Championships and on stage at the Swan, she will show why.

Peter Pan runs from Wednesday, May 9, to Saturday, May 12. For tickets, priced £9 and £8 concessions, call the box office on 01905 611427.
