Cornwall drew first blood in the opening fixture of the season against close rivals Devon by winning the pore-season friendly 8-7 at St Enodoc.
Both sides welcomed the chance to play at the famous links as this year's South West Counties Championship is being held there.

Devon's new foursomes pairing of Damion Gee and James Dimond looked promising. At the back of the field, Andy Place and Jack Stevenson took 2_ points out of the 3 available and showed a lot of determination to get this result.
