WALKERS are being encouraged to step into summer and explore the many Green Chain Walks on offer.
There will be a series of walking days, starting in Blackheath Village at 10am on May 14.
Walkers will start from Blackheath station before rambling through woodlands via Greenwich Park, the Thames Path and Oxleas Woods.
Greenwich Council's cabinet member for Greener Greenwich Councillor Rajwant Sidhu said: "The Green Chain network has become increasingly popular with people year on year."
