PRIMAL Scream are the final headline act to be announced for Bestival 2007 - the rock legends will headline the main stage on Sunday.

Honoured at this year's NME awards with the Godlike Genius award for a lifetime of rock 'n' roll achievement, Primal Scream have given the world 18 hit singles, as well as 11 best-selling albums during their time in the limelight.

Bestival curator Rob da Bank said: "Screamadelica made me throw half my record collection out it was so good, and they've just got better and better. Get ready to get your rocks off!"

Primal Scream will be joining many other huge stage acts, such as The Chemical Brothers, who are headlining on Friday, and the Beastie Boys who will be headlining on Saturday.

Other acts include The Gossip, The Maccabees, Zion Train and Kate Nash, as well as DJs including Tim Westwood and Rob Da Bank.

There will also be a gigantic ukulele band made up solely of festivalgoers; the world's biggest fancy dress party, a Bollywood cocktail bar, laughter clubs, a farmers' market, a kids' area and morris dancing.
