The International Institute of Cricket Umpires & Scorers (IICUS) are holding the first cricket umpiring course to be accredited by an educational validation.
The course starts on Wednesday, October 1 (7.30pm) at Oxford Brookes University, Harcourt Hill, Oxford, and will run for eight weeks.
Those who complete the course will earn themselves a BTEC Certificate.
The course is comprised of three units, the first two of which are classroom-based.
The third unit involves onfield experience by way of independent assessments.
