THAME Town captain Michael Higgs says his team will be going all-out for three wins from their final three games.

A thumping at the hands of fellow relegation rivals Shipton last week saw Thame slump to the foot of the table.

And Higgs says that his side must win at least two of their final matches to stand any chance of staying up.

“We’ve just got to go for it,” he said. “We have to forget the first 15 games and focus on the last three.

“And it will be at least two wins needed to give us any chance – maybe three.”

Thame make one change with Sam Lachlan replacing Jesal Rathod after recovering from injury.

Shipton-under-Wychwood skipper Simon Hole is urging his side to repeat last week’s superb all-round display when they entertain leaders Slough.

The eight-wicket win over Thame moved Shipton out of the drop zone.

And Hole is hoping that his side can produce more of the same.

“We played really, really well last week,” he said.

“If we bowl like we did last week and hold our catches, we are hopeful of a good result against Slough, who are flying at the moment.”

Joe Barrett is on an England under 16 training camp and so misses out, as does Ross Barrett, who is on holiday.

Tim Senior and Ian Lewis step up.

Aston Rowant lost top spot last week after drawing with Harefield.

While they will be hoping Shipton can do them a favour against Slough, Rowant know they must beat Gerrards Cross to take advantage.

“It was disappointing last week, but hopefully we can get back to winning ways,” said skipper Wes Morrick Josh Smith and Dan Matthews come in for Leigh Lewis and Richard Cook.
