CHAMPIONS Harwell completed their season with a 100 per cent record after winning 31-7 at Kingsclere.

Kingsclere were in no mood to make it easy for them, showing committed defence in early exchanges.

Eventually, Harwell broke through with two tries in quick succession from flanker Rob Douglas and wing Joe Pigott – his 30th in the league.

Dave Beaven converted the latter, but Kingsclere hit back with a converted try.

Harwell’s third try came from centre Jamie Cantwell, just before the break, Beaven converting for 19-7.

In the second half, Cantwell crossed for his second try and 20th of the campaign, while Dave Paton completed the scoring with No 5, converted by Beaven.
