Greene King ODDA Men’s Premier Section leaders Windrush SC exacted revenge for last week’s defeat by seeing off Goodlake Arms A 6-3 at home.

The visitors opened the scoring when Kevin Wilkins (180) defeated Darrell Steele, but Windrush roared back to lead 4-1 thanks to Michael Kearns (180), Bob McNamee, Ian Moss (180) and Ade Larner (180).

Dave Exell pulled one back by beating over Ryan Bull (180), but a 2-1 pairs victory sealed it for Windrush.

Cowley Workers Club visited Goodlake Arms B and came back from 3-2 down to snatch victory as Kevin Dickerson, Simon Powell, Lyndon Richards and Wayland Honour saw them home 6-3.

In Section 2, Masons Arms A defeated Democrats Club 7-2, while Nuffield Lounge avenged last week’s 8-1 thrashing by Red Lion by despatching the same opponents 7-2.

Three Horseshoes went 3-0 up against the visiting Donnington Community Centre A as Nigel Hodge, Alan Stimpson and Paul Bustin all won, only to lose 5-4 after a brilliant 3-0 pairs win from Donnington.

Follybridge Inn took a giant step towards the Section 3 title with a 7-2 success away to challengers Vikings Social Club A.

In the ladies league, Florence Park Community Centre A extended their lead at the top of the Premier Section thanks to an 8-1 triumph at Village Inn.
