Will Goodman carried his bat for 150 not out for Tiddington 2nd, whose drawn match at home to Didcot in MP Sports Cherwell League Division 5 produced 578 runs.

Goodman’s efforts meant Tiddington were able to declare at 310-7, although Didcot were not helped by a serious knee injury to Vishane Perera while fielding.

The visitors reached 268-6, with Shaun Burningham making 95 off just 84 balls, and Richard Cook 57.

Tiddington 14pts, Didcot 10.

Great & Little Tew 2nd made short work of Banbury 3rd as they romped to an eight-wicket victory to rem-ain top of the table.

Sam Catling’s 4-45 rest-ricted Banbury to 168, Alistair Jarvis making a top score of 32.

Tew had few alarms in passing the target as Andy Darby led them home with an unbeaten 79, assisted by Dave Powles (39no).

Sixteen-year-old off-spinner George Hook returned impressive figures of 6-40 to help Challow & Childrey 2nd to a five-wicket win over Bledlow Ridge 2nd.

Ridge made 170, thanks to 50 from Stephen Bird, but it was never enough as Challow reached 174-5, Ryan Gordon making the top score of 49.

Basement boys Oxford & Bletchingdon Nondescripts 2nd salvaged a draw against Brackley, who made 220-5 as Eric Carpenter top-scored with 66.

Nondies laboured to 138-6 in reply to pick up their fourth draw of the season.

Thame Town 2nd were bowled out for 91 at home to Shipton 2nd, who cruised home by nine wickets.
