Cropredy's title hopes suffered a setback as they went down by 78 runs at home to Buckingham 2nd in Division 4 of the MP Sports Cherwell League.
Mike Taylor and Jonny Cater both made half-centuries in Buckingham’s 200-9.
Cropredy were never in with a shout as they crashed to 122 all out and they are now level on points at the top with Stokenchurch.

A superb 122 by Arshad Latif was the backbone behind Stokenchurch’s total of 238 against Chearsley.
Ken Baker was the pick of the bowlers with 4-47.
In reply, Chearsley were dismissed for 113 which condemned them to a 125-run defeat.

Bicester & North Oxford consolidated their mid-table position with a 32-run success away to Leighton Buzzard 2nd.
Batting first, Bicester declared at 204-8 off 50 overs as Rob Humphreys led the way with 89.
Adam Culley returned 4-58 for Leighton Buzzard who made a good fist of their reply, led by Tim O’Leary (57).
However, they were eventually undone by Richard Simpson, whose figures of 6-57 proved decisive.

Trevor Spindler added five more victims to his ever increasing tally, but it couldn’t help Wallingford to victory against Cumnor 2nd.
Spindler took 5-45 in Cumnor’s 211, Mark Kirsten top-scoring with 68, but Wallingford then fell to 126 all out and an 85-run defeat.

Bottom-of-the-table Banbury Twenty 2nd, with just 36 points all season, forfeited their game with Kimble.
Kimble 25, Banbury XX 2nd 0.
