OCA League Divisions 5-11

East & West Hendred 2nd won a high-scoring Division 9 clash against Minster Lovell 3rd by 12 runs.

Batting first, Hendred rattled up a huge total of 293-3, Nigel Bateman scoring 79 not out, Steve Barksfield 72 and Dom McKenna 66.

But Minster put up a superb chase as they were bowled out in the final over for 281, with Dave Hunt (66) and Chris Slade (44) leading the way.

Faringdon 2nd stayed clear at the top with a 74-run victory over Kennington 2nd.

After scoring 200-8, Will Oglesby took 4-27 as Kennington fell to 126 all out.

In Division 5, Cairns Fudge kept up the pressure at the top with a crushing nine-wicket win over Uffington.

John Boaler (94) helped Uffington to 218-6.

Ian Francis (82no) and Martin Hanscombe (70) starred for Fudge as they cruised to 221-1.

Kennington edged to a one-wicket victory at West Witney.

Batting first, West Witney were restricted to 166-7, then Graham Rowley scored 89 not out as Kennington edged in at 168-9.

In Division 6, Ashley Pike smashed 129 not out to help Stanton St John Willows to a 146-run win at Dorchester.

Willows rattled up 295-6, before skipper Rezwan Rana took 4-21 as Dorchester were held to 149-7l.

Harry Sutton scored a century for Stanton Harcourt, but it was all in vain as they lost by four wickets at Shrivenham 2nd.

Swinbrook cruised to a nine-wicket win over Freeland 2nd.

Andrew Wingfield Digby took 4-31 as Freeland were bowled out for 147.

Joel Graham (76no) and Ben Lucas (55) then led Swinbrook to 149-1.

Henry Whitehouse scored 106 to help Kings Sutton to a crushing 175-run win at East Oxford 3rd in Division 8.

Whitehouse helped Kings Sutton to 262 all out, before Dan Boys took 5-23 as East Oxford were skittled for 87.

Phil Lowe scored a magnificent 129 to help Chesterton 2nd to a 114-run victory over Deddington 2nd.

Chesterton rattled up 253 all out, before Lowe starred with the ball, taking 3-4 as Deddington fell to 139 all out.

Nigel Joyner (100) led Britwell Salome 2nd to a 62-run win over Risinghurst 2nd in Division 11.
