Wallingford secured possibly the best result in their history with an 18-15 home victory over previously unbeaten South West 2 East leaders Reading.
Reading had been racking up 50 points on a regular basis, and were four divisions above Wallingford three seasons ago.
But they couldn’t match their battling hosts, for whom Jackson Sayce scored all the points.
The game began at a frantic pace, with Sayce slotting a tenth-minute drop goal.
Missed tackles and slick interplay allowed Reading a try through wing Craig Marshman, with Tom Goodhew converting.
Flanker Pete Holton was blocked illegally from the re-start and Sayce kicked the penalty.
Home No 8 Ian Jeffrey was sin-binned for handling in the ruck, but their defence held out.
Reading led 12-6 at half-time after No 8 Al Blewitt bagged an opportunist try when the ball popped out from a scrum.
Ten minutes into the second half, Reading captain Andy Evans was yellow-carded for killing the ball and Sayce kicked another penalty.
Wallingford raised their game and Sayce bagged a third penalty.
Reading were reduced to 13 men with full back Alex Blackstock joing Evans.
After a lot of pressure, Reading cut their losses with a drop goal from fly half James Balfry.
Sayce soon levelled with a penalty, and then won it late on with his sixth successful kick.
