LEADERS Littlemore continued their fine start in the BB&O Championship with a 5-3 home win over previously unbeaten Wheatley.
The visitors were unable to turn their early pressure into points and the hosts began to gain control in the pack.
It proved the route of Littlemore’s try, as they drove over from a lineout.
Wheatley started the second half with more intent and Aaron Laman’s penalty brought them within two points.
They continued to press, but could not unlock Littlemore’s defence until the hosts conceded a penalty.
Laman, though, was off target, as the home side made it five wins in a row.
Chipping Norton beat Faringdon 24-21, while Harwell enjoyed a 27-7 win over Aldermaston.
Lewis Giddings scored a hat-trick of tries, with Harry Whitwell, and Jordan Morrison also going over.
In the Premier, Didcot lost 46-5 at home to Swindon College Old Boys and Abingdon were beaten 39-17 at Drifters.
