LANCE Williams’s late winner booked North Leigh a place in the second qualifying round of the Emirates FA Cup with a 3-2 win over Ryman South League leaders Corinthian-Casuals.

The Millers took the lead on nine minutes when George Seacole saw his initial header saved, but Williams was on hand to glance home.

Casuals responded four minutes later through Shaun Okojie and the same player stunned the visitors to make it 2-1.

John Brough’s team emerged for the second half a different side and Seacole headed home the equaliser on 55 minutes.

The Millers searched for a winner and had to wait until the 89th-minute when Williams rose highest at a corner and his looping header found the net.

Banbury United are also in today’s draw after a 3-0 win at Dorchester Town.

Victory over their Evo-Stik Southern League Premier Division counterparts marked only the Puritans second success in the competition in ten seasons.

Banbury took the lead on 31 minutes when Leam Howards was fouled in the area and Ricky Johnson scored his 50th goal for the club from the spot.

The hosts dominated the early stages of the second half, but Banbury made it 2-0 on 54 minutes when Felipe Barcelos netted.

And just moments later the Brazilian forward made it 3-0.
