CRICKET: Jim Blackford in fine form as Oxfordshire Over 60s beat Warwickshire
JIM Blackford starred as Oxfordshire beat Warwickshire by five wickets in the National Over 60 Championship.
Oxon bowled out their West Midlands Group opponents for 132, Blackford taking 5-32.
They eased to victory in reply, with Adrian Manger (32) and Malcolm Evans (30) contributing most of the runs.
OXON Over 50s B lost by 48 runs to Hampshire at Oxford in the Southern Counties Senior Championship.
The visitors were dismissed for 191, but the hosts found it tough, despite the efforts of John Atkins (65), and fell short on 143.
