OXFORDSHIRE’S Under 17 girls returned to winning ways with an eight-wicket victory over Buckinghamshire in the ECB County Cup at Marlow.
Rachel Potter took 2-6 as Bucks were restricted to 53-7 in the Group 3 clash.
Lucy Thomas and Ellie Noble made light work of the chase as Oxon won in eight overs.
They also faced Cambridgeshire at Marlow, but lost by eight wickets.
Noble (34) and Deana Stamp helped Oxon post 101, but a second wicket-partnership of 77 helped Cambridgeshire to victory.
The Under 13 side suffered a 149-run defeat against Northamptonshire in Group 2 of the ECB County League.
Batting first, the visitors posted 195-7, before Oxon were all out for 46.
