A SUPERB spell from Sam Morbey helped Warriner School, Banbury, beat hosts Oxford Spires Academy by 57 runs in the Oxfordshire Under 15 Plate final held over from last season.
Sam Moore hit an unbeaten 68 and Laurence Grimes 47 as Warriner rattled up 138-2.
Then Morbey produced stunning figures of 6-11 as Spires were dismissed for 81 in 19.2 overs.
In this year’s Under 12 Bunbury Cup, Abingdon School set 141-3, Caspar Mannix scoring 54.
They then bowled out Henry Box, Witney, for 54, with Jack Lambert taking 5 for 4.
