Ken Bumpass was awarded an honorary life membership of the Oxfordshire RFU.
The stalwart, president since 2012, was honoured at their annual meeting.
Executive chairman Paddy Gregan, who presented Bumpass with a certificate and commemorative tankard paid tribute.
“Ken would turn out for you in rain or shine from the culmination of the County Cup final to an Oxfordshire festival for minis or youth teams,” he said.
“He has been made welcome by every club in Oxfordshire, which speaks volumes about the regard in which he is held.”
