Alex Fisher is still on a high after his goal against Portsmouth.
The Oxford United striker, who is on loan at Bognor, slotted a left-foot volley past England goalkeeper David James in injury time.
It came in front of the U's fans in the Oxford Mail stand, and a beaming Fisher said: "It doesn't get better than that."
He added: "It was a cracking move involving four youth team players. It was a great ball in from Richard Groves and I just managed to strike it cleanly and it went in.
"To score past David James in front of the home fans was just great - it's the highlight of my career so far."
Fisher, who made a handful of substitute appearances last season, is now looking to push for more United games.
"I am looking at this season as another of development really, and just hope to be able to produce the goods when I am called on," he said.
"Oxford are my home-town club and I have supported them since I was five, so it was a great moment."
