Drivers on the M40 were forced to go slow this morning after a lorry caught fire on the southbound carriageway.
The accident closed two lanes between junction seven at Thame and six at Watlington, and was still causing problems for drivers shortly before 8am, as the vehicle was moved to the hard shoulder.
Traffic was forced to queue for several miles, back to junction eight for Oxford.
A spokesman for South Central Ambulance said paramedics were not required to attend the incident.
