SCHOOLS in Oxford and Witney soared to success in a competition encouraging the development of public speaking.
The Wychwood School in Oxford won the senior trophy in the zone final of Rotary Club’s Youth Speaks competition.
The event was held in Witney Congregational Church on Thursday, February 1.
A team from Wood Green School, in Witney, won the intermediate trophy.
Both teams have now qualified for the district final, which will be held at the beginning of March.
