PUPILS at a school near Abingdon will help children living in poverty in Africa.
Children at the Manor Preparatory School in Shippon can take part in a pyjama day and cake sale on Friday, to raise money for Kapumpe Primary School in Zambia - the school's charity of the year.
The Manor's director of music, Clare Woodall, volunteered at Kapumpe in 2016.
Noting the word 'Kapumpe' translates as 'eagles', she said: "The hope is that the children at Kapumpe will be able to rise up from the poverty that entangles their lives and really soar in life."
