OXFAM chief executive Mark Goldring has faced charges of hypocrisy after the charity tweeted that poverty was caused by an ‘extreme form of capitalism’.
Mr Goldring, who took over running the Cowley-based aid organisation in 2013, came under fire to justify his £127,000 salary.
The charity had tweeted: “We have an extreme form of capitalism that only works for those at the top. That is why we are calling for governments to manage economies so they work for everyone and not just the fortunate few.”
