INTERNATIONAL students boost Oxford's economy by nearly £180m new research has shown.
The amount contributing to the Oxford East constituency by foreign students is the fourth highest of constituencies in the UK.
The research – jointly published by the Higher Education Policy Institute and Kaplan International Pathways - showed Oxford East's international students starting in 2015/16 brought in £178.9m, after health and social security costs were deducted.
Sheffield Central, Newcastle Upon Tyne East and Nottingham South came top three.
