REAL ale fans are invited to share a pint or two at one of the city’s major festivals next week.
The Oxford CAMRA Beer and Cider Festival at the Town Hall runs from Thursday, starting at 5pm, to Saturday, October 13.
The festival is now in its 15th year at this venue, and will be bigger than ever featuring 160 different beers and around 40 real ciders and perries.
All breweries within 30 miles of the city will be represented at the event.
Matthew Bullock, pictured, chairman of the Oxford branch of CAMRA said: “It is our big campaigning event. While we do have events throughout the year this is the one that introduces beers to lots of people who haven’t tried them before.”
Entry is £2, though it is free for CAMRA members, and members of Brookes and Oxford University Real Ale Societies.
