A LITTLEMORE church is offering a Harvest Festival with a difference this month.

The Harvest of Talents is a free exhibition at St Mary and St Nicholas Church, and features the artwork of people in the area, young and old.

It is part of the church’s Harvest season, with the traditional service taking place tomorrow.

The Rev Margreet Armistead said: “The idea is that it is a real celebration of the community so everybody who would like to contribute something is welcome to do so.”

Myron Blatz says...

In this day and age of many people feeling unsure and insecure about what happens in their lives, it is refreshing to see an event which eminates from within the community, which has not been politically orchestrated and funded by City or County Councillors keen to score 'rainbow points' - and also nice to see a photo which isn't dominated by the usual bunch of manically grinning local politicians wearing false smiles which can often seem only marginally less genuine than their politics.
