UPDATE: Two arrested after tower block fire

TWO men have been arrested on suspicion of arson following a fire at a tower block in Wood Farm.

Police were called to Foresters Tower at around 1.30am today following reports of a fire in a second floor flat.

One bedroom was fire damaged and the rest of the flat was smoke-logged.

A police forensics team is now investigating the scene.

Two men, aged 20 and 40, have been arrested on suspicion of arson and are currently in custody.

Anyone with any information about this incident should contact Oxford CID via 101.

I'm sure they're innocent. Public housing is just so flammable. It can happen any time.After all what belongs to everyone belongs to no one so it probably doesn't seem to matter.....
