An inquest has been opened into the death of Modern Art Oxford director Michael Stanley.
Mr Stanley, 37, of Combe in West Oxfordshire, was found dead at a house in Adelaide Street, Oxford, on September 21.
The father-of-three joined the art gallery in 2009 and was responsible for curating acclaimed exhibitions and a £300,000 expansion in 2010. He was a member of the Turner Prize 2012 jury.
Oxfordshire Coroner’s Office formally opened and adjourned an inquest yesterday.
