His last job was at Richer Sounds in Botley Road, where he was stockroom controller for six weeks on a temporary basis.

The job hunter said: “I helped customers, cleaned the shoproom floor and emptied bins.

“Before then I was a self-employed builder for about a year but work dried up.”

Since finishing at Richer Sounds, Mr Ayres, who lives with his parents, has been busy looking for a job and said: “I have applied for several jobs and anywhere I can hand a CV in.

“I am reliable, hardworking, flexible with my hours and I have good communication skills. I also have good team working skills from my experience at Richer Sounds.”

He added: “If I got a job I would be ecstatic. I would get out of here and get back working, doing what I want to do.”
