CELEBRITY Denise Van Outen visited Florence Park in Oxford to drum up support for a campaign to improve children’s playgrounds.
The Transform Your Patch campaign has already helped to regenerate 165 outdoor spaces.
Florence Park has had new play equipment installed as part of the project.
But four celebrities are now also competing for votes to decide how an extra £100,000 will be spent improving public spaces. Mrs Van Outen is championing playgrounds, while rapper Fazer is aiming to improve skate parks, football pundit Robbie Savage backs pitches and TV presenter Emma Willis wants picnic areas and parks.
Mrs Van Outen said: “With just seven days to go before voting closes, this is the last chance for the people in Oxford to get behind Transform Your Patch and vote for playgrounds.”
