A BURST water main is affecting hundreds of homes in Headington this morning.

Water supplies went off at around 6.30am and homes as far afield as Ramsay Road and Snowdon Mede are affected. Some have no water and others have low water pressure.

The problem relates to a burst water pipe in the Old Road and Windmill Road areas.

No one from Thames Water is available for comment.

Let's hope good old Thames Water will get this fixed soon because (OMG) it's been hot and sunny for a few days and another hosepipe ban might need to be in place!
