ORGANISERS estimate just under 6,000 women took part in the Race for Life in Oxford earlier today.
The race saw women dressed in pink racing 5k through University Parks and the city centre’s streets.
Many of those taking part had been touched by cancer and wore signs explaining who they were racing for.
The event was organised by Cancer Research UK and is expected to raise tens of thousands of pounds.
