A FRESH appeal has been launched to find Sampson Olajie Makhinde, who is wanted in connection with a rape in Oxford.
Detectives want to speak to him about the rape of a 22-year-old woman in Cornmarket Street on December 15, 2009.
Makhinde has appeared on Crimestopper’s list of the top 30 people wanted for sex crimes in the UK.
He is believed to have links to the Cowley Road area of Oxford and London.
Makhinde was arrested shortly after the rape and bailed to appear at St Aldate’s police station in February 2010.
But despite featuring on BBC’s Crimewatch programme detectives have not found him.
Anyone with information can call police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
