Oxford University’s attempts to build a controversial new campus at Old Road in Headington have been successful.
Its fate was decided last night at a meeting of the city council’s planning review committee after the original approval earlier this month was ‘called in’ for review by 18 councillors.
But after a two-hour debate, the committee approved plans to build the £57m campus near the Churchill Hospital in Headington.
