THE Oxford Mail is this week celebrating the launch of its new Loyalty Card.

Readers from around the county have been rushing to get their hands on the new card, which rewards them for having the paper delivered to their homes.

In return they have the chance to save hundreds of pounds thanks to exclusive discounts from businesses all over Oxfordshire.

Only readers who pay to have the paper delivered six days a week will receive the card.

Shamus Donald, the regional managing director of Newsquest Oxfordshire and Wiltshire, cut a cake at our Osney Mead headquarters yesterday to celebrate the launch.

He said: “Our Oxford Mail home delivery customers are really important to us.

“I’m delighted we have been able to team up with more than 140 businesses to reward them with our exclusive Loyalty Card.

“And I trust the savings on offer are especially welcome following the recent rise in VAT.”

All readers have to do to claim the discounts is to show the Loyalty Card at the venues or retailers listed in the scheme’s brochure.
