A man escaped from Campsfield House immigration detention centre last night.
Police were called to the centre in Langford Lane, Kidlington, at 10.30pm following reports a man had escaped.
The police helicopter was sent out to search for the man, but this morning he was still missing.
Police spokesman Christopher Kearney said: “We are carrying out searches.”
