Handbag stolen in Chipping Norton break-in

Police are appealing for witnesses after a burglary in Chipping Norton.

Between midnight and 8.30am on Saturday, burglars forced their way into the property in West Street and stole a handbag, containing a purse and chequebook, and a mobile phone.

Det Sgt Dick White said: “I would like to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time who may have seen or heard anything suspicious.

“I would also like to speak with anyone who knows anything about who may have carried out this burglary.”
