  • Luke Francis, 24, of Allder Close, Abingdon, admitted assault by beating in Abingdon on May 1. Fined £750, £85 costs, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £250 compensation.
  • Robert Clare, 49, of Quakers Court, Abingdon, admitted sexual assault on a female in Abingdon on April 30. Told to participate in the Thames Valley Sex Offenders’ Groupwork Programme for 88 days, register with police for five years, and pay £250 compensation.
  • Christopher Ball, 18, of Challenor Close, Abingdon, admitted criminal damage to the rear window of a Vauxhall Zafira in Abingdon on May 31. Given a six-month conditional discharge and told to pay £60 compensation and £85 costs.
  • Luke Floyd, 20, of Great Western Drive, Didcot, admitted criminal damage to a quantity of vinyl records in Shippon on April 8. Given a six-month conditional discharge and told to pay £20 compensation and £85 costs.
  • Simon Sangster, 22, of Kennington Road, Kennington, admitted criminal damage to a quantity of vinyl records and to a door, door frame and lock in Shippon on April 8. Given a six-month conditional discharge and told to pay £60 compensation and £85 costs.
  • Philip Jeacock, 30, of Bath Street, Abingdon, admitted drink-driving in Barrow Road, Shippon, on May 30. He had 84 microgrammes of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35mg. Fined £180, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for 20 months.
  • Robert Powell, 22, of Curtis Avenue, Abingdon, admitted drink-driving in Audlett Drive, Abingdon, on May 29. Had 116mg of alcohol in 100ml of breath. Given 140 hours’ unpaid work and told to pay £85 costs. Banned from driving for 28 months.
  • Edwin Cuevas, 42, of Larkdown, Wantage, admitted driving without a licence and drink-driving in Larkdown on April 29. Had 47mg of alcohol in 100ml of breath. Fined £200, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for a year.
  • Guy Reynolds, 29, of Mansfield Garden, Didcot, admitted driving while disqualified, driving without insurance and commission of a further offence during the operational period of a suspended sentence on the A4130 at Milton on March 25. Jailed for 28 days.
  • John Salmon, 39, of Westfield, Harwell, admitted possessing a hunting knife at Nottingham police station on April 21. Given a six-month conditional discharge and told to pay £85 costs.
  • Bandar Alyami, 20, of Iffley Road, Oxford, admitted driving without insurance in Old Greyfriars Street, Oxford, on February 6. Fined £350, £15 victims’ surcharge and £65 costs. Also given six penalty points.
  • Phillip Barnett, 36, of Pine Close, Garsington, admitted riding a pedal cycle on a footpath in Cowley Road, Oxford, on February 6. Fined £20, a £15 victims’ surcharge and told to pay £30 costs.
  • Tenika Blake, 22, of Wyatt Road, Oxford, admitted permitting the use of a motor vehicle with no insurance in Banbury Road, Oxford, on December 16. Fined £150, £15 victims’ surcharge and £65 costs. Also given six penalty points.
  • James Gemmill, 55, of Church Street, Beckley, admitted driving without a seatbelt in Banbury Road, Oxford, on February 25. Fined £60, £15 victims’ surcharge and £30 costs.
  • Robin Giddings, 55, of Eastfield Lane, Whitchurch-on-Thames, admitted criminal damage of £240 to a Toyota Landcruiser and using threatening words or behaviour to cause harassment, alarm or distress in Whitchurch on February 5. Given a 12-month conditional discharge and told to pay £75 compensation and £85 costs.
  • Luke Chambers, 19, of Dalton Barracks, Abingdon, admitted criminal damage of £80.50 to a Vauxhall Corsa, criminal damage of £75 to a Ford Transit and criminal damage to a Leyland DAF van in Abingdon on December 11. Fined £300, £230.50 compensation, £450 costs and a £15 victims’ surcharge.
  • Christopher Jay, 21, of Andersey Way, Abingdon, admitted shoplifting a £5 DVD from Tesco in Abingdon on December 7 and failing to comply with the requirements of a suspended sentence. Given a six-month conditional discharge and told to pay £120 costs. Also banned from any Tesco for three months.
  • Simon Lightfoot, 30, of Synderford Close, Didcot, admitted shoplifting a packet of gammon steaks valued at £24 from BP in Didcot on April 19; shoplifting a packet of lamb chops and three-pack of pork chops valued at £14.18 from BP in Didcot on April 21; shoplifting meat valued at £13.82 from Co-op in Didcot on March 1 and shoplifting alcohol valued at £6.79 from Co-op in Didcot on April 8. Fined £100, £100 costs and a £15 victims’ surcharge. Also told to pay £330.68 compensation.
